COUNSELING OR COACHING?

Two different kinds of support—depending on what you need

01

Parent counseling

For your own anxiety, depression, burnout, grief, relationships, co-parenting, stress, identity, or mental health. Planned future counseling is for Washington residents.

02

Parent coaching

Planned future support for practical, non-clinical strategies around routines, communication, homework, big emotions, and everyday parenting challenges. These offerings may be available beyond Washington where permitted.

03

Family support

When the concern involves patterns between people, family transitions, conflict, or connection, family counseling may be the better fit.

WHY PEAKED MIND

Years with children can add context to the parent experience

Kaylyn has spent more than eight years working with children. That experience can help make sense of what parents are seeing at home, while a whole-person, family-centered lens keeps relationships, environment, strengths, and stressors in view. Parent counseling still centers you as the client—your stress, emotions, needs, and goals matter too.
