What Peaked Mind may receive
Peaked Mind may receive your email address, your name if you choose to provide it, the email updates you select, and information you voluntarily include in a direct email. The website and its security provider may also process limited technical information such as an IP address, browser or device details, timestamps, and pages requested.
Please do not send diagnoses, treatment records, detailed symptoms, Social Security numbers, insurance information, or other sensitive health information through a signup form or ordinary email.
How information is used
- To answer a general inquiry or send the updates you requested.
- To manage subscriptions and honor unsubscribe requests.
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website and email delivery.
- To understand which pages are useful, but only when you allow analytics.
- To meet legal obligations and respond to misuse or security concerns.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts and secures the website. MailerLite processes signup information and delivers email updates. The provider of Peaked Mind’s business inbox processes direct email. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics processes limited website-usage information. These providers receive only the information needed for their work.
Peaked Mind does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Your analytics choice
Google Analytics storage stays off unless you select “Allow analytics.” You may select “No thanks” without losing access to the website. Advertising storage, advertising personalization, and advertising user-data signals remain disabled.
Email choices
You may unsubscribe from either Peaked Mind email list at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an automated email. You may also email hello@peakedmind.com for help with your subscription.
Consumer health information
Information that identifies someone as looking for mental-health information or future counseling may have added protection under Washington law. Peaked Mind explains those practices and your rights in a separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
Security and retention
Peaked Mind uses reasonable safeguards for the limited information collected and keeps information only as long as needed for the requested communication, security, legal obligations, or documented business purposes. Ordinary email is not a secure clinical communication system and is not for emergencies.
